Past student receives award for early years business support

It is always a pleasure to hear that one of our past students has been recognised publicly for the work that they do.

Maureen Askew of AskAskew Early Years and Childcare Business Consultancy has just been recognised as the UK’s Most Outstanding Early Years Support Provider for 2016 through Corporate Livewire’s Innovation & Excellence Awards. This adds to her collection of awards as last year she was also named as Best Early Years and Childcare Consultancy by the Corporate Vision Consultancy Awards.

Maureen, who is based in Lancashire, successfully completed her Level 5 Award in Business Support with us in 2013, and has gone on to apply her learning with the early years settings that she supports.

In an interview following her completion of the programme Maureen said “As a self-employed business consultant specialising in the childcare sector, I welcomed the opportunity to continue my professional development by attending the training. The course provided an opportunity to not only consolidate my skills and develop my knowledge, but also increased my confidence in working with childcare providers on a wider range of issues impacting on the sector.”
