We were absolutely delighted this week to be able to present a certificate to the first of our learners to pass on our new Professional Consulting Skills Programme. Hilary Preece, who is an experienced Early Years Consultant specialising in supporting settings to improve their Ofsted grade, achieved the Award and received really positive feedback from the assessor who marked her assignment. She has certainly set a high standard for others to meet!
We launched a bespoke version of the CMI Level 5 Award in Professional Consulting Skills on behalf of the National Early Years Trainers & Consultants Organisation (NEyTCO) a few months ago, further developing our successful partnership with Silver Pebble. We have previously collaborated with Silver Pebble to deliver the Childcare Business Advisers Programme (CBAP) with approaching 300 students having completed that programme, leading to a Level 5 Award in Business Support.
Hilary says about the programme “I had some reservations about undertaking the Award in Professional Consulting because I had already established myself as a successful consultant and had no shortage of work. However, as soon as I began the programme I knew I had made the right decision. I felt immediately enthused, and reassured to know that my style and approach to consultancy was professional, ethical and effective. The programme has helped me take stock of my business and personal skills.”
