The DfE has just announced The Delivery Support Fund (DSF) to support local authorities in creating additional 30 hours places in the summer term. This is a very flexible pot of funding which can be used in a variety of ways including training for providers and for local authority staff to develop the business skills required to manage the changes needed in settings to move to delivery of 30 hours sustainably.
I have already had enquiries over the past few days from local authorities who want to apply for this funding to deliver one of our training programmes. The programmes of particular interest are:
Childcare Business Advisers Programme – a designed to up-skill local authority business support advisers and which delivers a Level 5 qualification
Business Planning for the 30 Hours – a one day course designed to help providers to plan for the delivery of 30 hours
Business Planning for the 30 Hours for Childminders – a half day course designed to help childminders to plan for the delivery of 30 hours
Develop Your Change-ability – a half day course designed to develop the change management skills of providers and enable them to build business and personal resilience.
If you would like further information about any of these courses to support your application for funding please give me a call on 07770 477688 or email me at jacqui@flourishingpeople.co.uk
