Business, leadership and management skills training
My business, leadership and management skills training is designed to build the competence and confidence of setting owners, managers and committee members who need to become as competent in managing the business aspects of their setting as they are in managing the quality of childcare.
The introduction of the 30 hours extended entitlement has meant that every Early Years provider is having to look closely at their delivery model and make changes in order to deliver sustainably. In an environment where they face static levels of funding alongside increasing costs, the challenges that they are facing this year will become even more pronounced in the coming years. Business skills are therefore becoming even more important to enable settings to transform the way they currently operate.
As my work in this area is tailored to individual businesses please contact me to discuss your needs.
We all know that a happy team creates a happy working environment and that this will lead to happy children in your care.
I can help you to build the ability of your team to work well together to deliver an outstanding service for parents and children alike.
Sometimes it helps for your team to spend some time together away from the setting where they can get to know each other better, consider how they can work together more effectively and focus on what’s really important for the future of your setting.
I can support you by tailor-making a development day for you designed to address the issues that matter most for you and your settings, whether that’s improving communication, building motivation, coping with change or anything else.

I also work on a one to one basis with setting owners and managers, helping you to focus on the factors that are critical in achieving success in your role.
