I will work you to help you to develop your leadership, management and interpersonal skills as a part of your personal and professional development plan.
A typical coaching programme will incorporate:
The aim of this stage is to help you to develop your self-awareness and identify areas to focus on, and also to build my understanding of how best to support you. Most frequently I use either the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and / or 360 degree appraisal.
The first coaching session is a longer (2 hour) session to allow for an in depth exploration of your current situation, informed by the results of any reports used. This discussion results in a personal development plan with clearly defined outcomes allowing us to focus your coaching support on those areas that will directly impact on your competence and confidence in your role.
Following on from the initial session, coaching sessions are held either face to face or over the phone and will usually take place every 4-6 weeks (to be agreed depending on your perception of your needs). Each session will last for about 45-60 minutes depending on your needs.
The programme of support that I provide also includes unlimited email contact throughout the duration of the programme, in addition to the coaching sessions.
At the end of the agreed coaching programme we undertake a review, the outcome of which might be that no further support is required, or to extend the coaching programme on a less frequent or ad hoc basis.
