Flourishing People offers tailor-made programmes for your team designed to build more competent, confident managers, team leaders and supervisors.
So often in the UK we promote people into management and supervisory roles because they have been excellent at performing a particular task. And we expect them to somehow pick up the ability to manage other people doing the job.
Flourishing People designs and delivers training and development programmes to build the business leadership and management skills and capability of your managers, from first line supervisors and team leaders through to senior executives. Our programmes range from single half day events focused on a particular topic to modular programmes delivered over a period of several months.
All of our courses are designed to appeal to the preferred learning styles of participants and incorporate group discussions, team tasks, individual and paired reflection, input of technical knowledge, signposting to reference sources of underpinning theories, action planning etc.
We deliver training in a way that creates an excellent learning environment for participants. In order to do this our trainers:
• Demonstrate a practical understanding of people’s learning styles, which enables them to relay information in a way that will be easy for participants to digest. Our ability to assess people’s level of ability quickly and to adapt the delivery to meet their needs means that we ensure that we neither talk down to people nor talk over their heads.
• Offer support, reassurance and encouragement to motivate participants’ learning and share our own ideas and experiences to make it easy for participants to do the same.
• Understand that enjoyment is a powerful aid to learning and we ensure that we make our workshops interactive, practical and fun.
As our training is tailored to meet your needs, where appropriate, we incorporate your own documentation and processes into the training. This ensures that the training we deliver has a high degree of relevance for participants.
